Exceptional and fantastic units available with private balcony and bedroom, for instance. Marvellous and brilliant location right across from a nightclub, in the lovely area.

Good location - clean -
Check-in staff (girl) not friendly or helpful. We asked for a pool side room and didnt get it. We asked for a toaster and it took 2 hours to get it. We asked (same receptionist ) about golf and she wasnt able to advise us on where to go. She didnt seem to enjoy her job.

The room was quite nice.
The noise from the disco accross the road was extremely loud, especially when they left the disco around 7.30 am. There was no point trying to sleep before then and the maid came knocking at 9.30. I would never dream of staying here again. I came here to get away and relax but it was a nightmare. The wi-fii signal was just too weak, but the cafe accross the road Cepa Torta had excellent signal, in fact I am in here now typing this as we moved to an alternative hotel. I do not think that you can believe the star rating in Portugal in Ireland this place would not have a star.

It was surely a pleasant stay for the long weekend in June. The hotel was perfectly clean and the staff were really helpful and incredibly attentive. Our room was brand-new and air conditioned for the extra large balconies. Had soft drinks in the sports bar...

This place offered fair prices and a comfortable family apartment with a big balcony that was ideal for our weekend, along with a good outdoor bar that was reasonably priced.

The hotel was excellent value for money, but note our time of stay (before 31st March). The prices go up thereafter, with summer being extremely expensive. The room was very clean and has everything one needs, both in a hotel room and for self catering. The staff are very helpful and polite. No complaints whatsoever and would recommend this hotel for this time of year (not peak season due to price).
The only negative comment to make is the lighting. Very dim lighting is used, including in the bathroom. They should definitely have stronger lights in the bathroom area. The beds in my opinion were on the soft side, but everybody has different taste. The beds were 2 separate beds, so ask, if you are looking for a double bed. Not sure if they provide them.

The service was fantastic and the pool was good. Liked the family apartment with fab balcony, wouldn't mind staying there all day. The food was cheap and there were a great selection of dishes in the menu. Location: the hotel was very close to all the pubs as well as the city center

Booked a family apartment with a kitchen area, an ironing set, and a kettle; the staff was kind and wonderful, and the beds were lovely, in a great location for walking around Oura. Rewritten: Booked a family apartment with a kitchen area, an ironing set, and a kettle, and the staff was friendly and helpful, plus the beds were comfortable, with a fantastic location for strolling around Oura.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the areias village. The appartments were spacious, comfortable and modern! The kitchen was wonderful & the size of the balcony being a big selling point. Great location with clean pool areas. One gentleman we spoke to at reception recommended a lovely traditional portugese restaurant which we loved! He has been well trainied and was so helpfull. If there had to be one down side it was that we were surprised the kitchen wasn't cleaned once whole we were there or even if they provided washing up liquid we could have done it ourselves! Thank u for a memorable holiday.
The kitchen was never cleaned and one lady at reception was a bit blunt and unintrested!

Quality, service, cleanliness, beauty - the luxury of the fittings and furnishings far outshone what we expected, especially at the price we paid.
